Summary

ZuPayments provides self-custodial payment software. Because you self-host your treasury node and hold your own keys, you are solely responsible for the custody, security, and movement of your funds. The hosted platform provides dashboards and reporting and never takes custody of, or the ability to move, your ZKZ.

Your responsibilities

• Securing your treasury node, its keys, and your admin credentials.
• Complying with applicable laws for accepting Zucoins (ZKZ).
• Backing up your wallets — exports are portable and byte-compatible with the official Zucoins app.

No custody, no sandbox

The SplitChain gateway is production-only; all transactions involve real ZKZ. ZuPayments cannot reverse, freeze, or recover a transaction, by design.
